Torae is an incredible emcee, actor, and radio host from Coney Island. Over the years he has built his name up in the entertainment business independently. He started his own label called Internal Affairs Entertainment. He released all his hit records under his own company. Torae got his big break after he collaborated with DJ Premier and Marco Polo.
In 2008 he released a project called Daily Conversation. Shortly after that this talented superstar dropped an LP called “Double Barrel” with Polo that the streets loved. In November of 2011 Torae also released his debut album “For The Record.” Throughout his journey he has worked with Tash of Tha Alakholiks, Wale, Sean Price, Talib Kweli, and many more. On May 27, 2014 he dropped a collaborative album called “Barrel Brothers” with Skyzoo.
Torae is also apart of Hip Hop Nation which is a show on Sirius XM Radio. He has met a lot of stars and interviewed them on his show. A lot of well known celebrities has gained a lot of respect for the young brother. Well I’m here to say that his bars, witty word play, and story line turned me into a fan. In 2023 before the ball dropped, I was given the opportunity to film some behind the scene footage for his hit single Bubble Chip. On January 5, 2024 Torae premiered the video on YouTube. This new visual was shot by Shready and directed by The Fire Factory. On this track the God Emcee speaks about knocking down the industry doors, traveling the world, the success he has accumulated in the music business, and how he feeds his team.
