On August 2 2021 hiphop artist BIZ MARKIE was laid to rest and funeral services was held at the Patchogue Theater in Patchogue New York. Biz Markie born Marcel Theo Hall passed away from complications from diabetes. Born in Harlem but raised in Long Island became one of the most funniest hiphop artist with hit albums like Goin Off, The Biz Never Sleeps, Weekend warrior just to name a few.
Many fans stood outside to extend their condolences and to sing songs of some of his successful albums that released thru out his career. Celebrities were in attendance such as Fat Joe, Parrish “PMD” Smith, Kid Capri, Busy Bee just to new a few. Reverend Al Sharpton did the eulogy and expressed his condolences to close family and friends as well as addressed news12 to say BIZ MARKIE dedicated his life to music and making fans feel better thru his music.
